Steven Spencer (Steve) went home to be with his Lord and savior following an extended illness. Steve was a 1974 graduate of Herbert Hoover High School and a life long resident of Kanawha County. Steve attended Kanawha Baptist Temple Church. Steve was kind hearted and a soft spoken man. He will forever be remembered for his sense of humor, easy going personality, and contagious smile. Throughout Steve’s life he enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycles, and spending time with his family and friends.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Mildred Spencer, sisters Betty Jo Spencer and Delcie Kennedy, and brother Danny Spencer. Steve leaves behind his beloved wife of 36 years Donna Spencer, son Terry Spencer, daughters Crystal Bryant, Betty Spencer, and Stacy Tolley [Son in law Jared Tolley] all of Charleston. He also leaves behind granddaughters Makayla and Nadia Tolley, and Grandsons Shawn and Eithan Spencer, sisters Sherry Ross of Charleston, and Mary Creech of Oklahoma, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Kanawha Baptist Temple Church 1 Baptist Mountain Road, Charleston, WV 25311 at  1pm Friday with Pastor Curtis Patterson officiating. Burial will be in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney. Family will receive friends from Noon until service time Friday at the church.
