Shirley Hughes

Shirley Mae Hughes, 72, of Charleston, WV, went to be with the Lord, August 7, 2016.

She was born July 3, 1944, to the late Robert Earl and Margie Marble Carte Stutler.

She was also preceded by brothers, Bob, Tom, Dick, and Dallas Stutler.

Shirley Mae was a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School, former general manager of Virginian Power Transport, and a member of Cathedral of Prayer Southern Baptist Church.

Shirley Mae is survived by her loving family, husband of over 53 years, Paul David, daughter, Pamela (Richard) Jenkins, grandchildren, Douglas Jenkins and Geneva Alex Daughtery, great grandchildren, Rylee Jenkins, Mason and Noah Daughtery, sisters, Margie Phillips, Barbara Jones, Geneva Lacy and those that still called her mother.

The funeral service will be held at Noon, Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at the Cathedral of Prayer Southern Baptist Church, 2324 Pennsylvania Ave., Charleston, WV, with Pastor Kevin Norvill officiating.  Private burial will follow in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney, WV.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Tuesday and 1 hour before the service at the church.
