Roger Glen "MOON" Mullins, 68, entered into rest on August 10, 2018.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Tressie (Legg) Mullins, and his grandson, Jeremy Ferrebee.
He is survived by his wife Peach, and best friend, Sadie, of Clay, daughter, Tressi Mullins, step-daughters, Jennifer Douglas, Beth and Janet Ferrebee, and Anita (Benny) McKinney, sister, Dorothy Fitzwater and brother, Sammy Mullins. Grandchildren, Daniel, Emily, Hannah, Dylan, Josh, Adam, Jake, John, Chelsea, and Jarod. 2 great-grandchildren.
He and his wife are the owners of Peach's Place in Procious. He served in Vietnam for the United States Army. Moon was a retired pipeliner for the Louisiana Labors Union, Local #692. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors. He was a member of the Big Knob Hunting Club and was a volunteer for the annual Wallback Lake Youth Fishing Derby and Buffalo Creek Recreational Trail.
He will be missed by many loving friends.
A memorial service will be held at Sizemore Farm, Maysel Hill, and follow the signs, on Saturday, August 18, 2018, at 3:00 PM. Military Rites will be by Clay V.F.W. Post #4419. The family will receive friends 1 hour before the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Clay County High School Cheerleading, 1 Panther Drive, Clay, WV 25043.
