Maurice “Ed” Reed, Jr.

Maurice “Ed” Reed, Jr., 69, of Charleston, left his family and friends, on Monday, November 30, 2020, at 7:22 PM, at C.A.M,C. Memorial Division, with his sister and mother, comforting him.

Ed was born November 27, 1951, in Charleston, to the late Maurice Edward Reed, Sr. and Ruby Myers Reed. He was preceded in death by his father.

He was a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School, a U. S. Army Veteran, who was raised in the Christian Church, and his last employment was the Charleston, YMCA.

Ed is survived by his loving family, his mother, Ruby M. Reed, sister, Cheryl and her husband Joe Honce of Bridgeport, WV, brother, John and his wife, Sandy of Florida and a host of nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced.
