Lorraine Mae Hampton

Lorraine Mae Hampton, 92, of Charleston,WV, formerly of Martinsburg,WV, went to be with the Lord on April 13, 2020, at Hubbard Hospice House West, South Charleston.

She was born August 15, 1927, in Boone Co.,WV, daughter of the late Hayes Lee Price and Dora Pearl Browning Price.

Lorraine was a member of the First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her 2 sons, George D. Hampton, lll and his wife Bonnie, of Charleston, WV, and David L. Hampton and his wife, Andrea, of Kirksville, Missouri, two daughters, Deborah M. Hampton of Martinsburg, WV and Beverly Hampton Lloyd and husband, Kevin of Mt. Airey, Maryland; four grandchildren, Amy Garyon Hampton, Ashley Brooke McCarty, Aaron Lloyd and Kelly Lloyd, six great-grandchildren, Amadeus G. Hampton, Olivia Hampton, Naava Hampton, Cade McCarty, Reese McCarty and Gage McCarty.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Dewey Hampton, Jr., son, Robert A. Hampton, and a grandson, George D Hampton, IV.

There will be no formal service and interment will be private.
