Our beloved son Joshua Michael Surbaugh passed away on March 6, 2023, at the young age of 33 after a long courageous fight with cancer.
Josh completed his bachelor's degree in finance at Marshall University. Although graduating from Marshall, Josh was a diehard WVU fan.
Josh was working at the Toyota plant in Buffalo, WV when he was first diagnosed in February 2020. He loved his crew members and would talk about them often.
He appreciated everybody's friendship.
Josh was also an avid movie goer. He loved his movies especially with his side kicks Robert and Annie.
Josh loved sports and played them quite well. He was an accomplished bowler too. He bowled a "300" and 800" series while still in his youth league. Baseball was another sport he loved with accomplishing throwing two "no hitters”. One was at Watt Powell Park and the other one at Appalachian Power Park. Josh had a passion for collecting Funko pops and was an avid sneaker head with his brother and best friend, Lewis Edens. This became his hobby after he was diagnosed.
