Jeanne M. Thomas

Jeanne Marie Rider Thomas, 45 of Charleston, formerly of Nitro, passed away, April 12, 2021, unexpectedly.

She was born March 1, 1976 in Charleston, to the late Leroy and Robin Gillispie Rider.

Jeanne attended Poca High School and New Directions Ministry. She was an employee of Hardee’s, South Charleston,

Jeanne never met a stranger and would help others before herself and was a good mother, grandmother and aunt.

She is survived by her loving family; sons, Robby Thomas and Chris Rider, both of Charleston, grandson, Zander Thomas, brothers, Eric Gillispie and Rick Rider both of Nitro, nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00PM, Tuesday, April 20, at New Directions Ministry, 12 Avalon Circle, South Charleston, WV, with Pastor Chad Smarr officiating.Private burial will be later.

Family will receive friends from noon until service time at the church.
