Harold E. Seckman, Jr.

Harold Eugene Seckman, Jr., 71, of Charleston, passed away, November 17, 2020.

He was born September 27, 1949, in Charleston, to the late Harold E. Seckman, Sr. and Betty Payne Seckman. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Flinn Griffin Meadows.

Harold was a Viet Nam Veteran of the U.S Army where he received the Purple Heart, and was a R C Airplane enthusiast, He was a member of the Boilermaker’s Union Local#667 for 40 years as a welder.

Harold is survived by his loving family, daughter, Jennifer (Michael) Meadows,USAR, Fort Jackson, SC, grandson, Beckett Meadows, son, Eric  (Janine) Seckman, Charleston, WV, sister, Diana Haynes of Charleston, brother, Dennis Seckman, formerly of Charleston, nephew, David Seckman.

A cryptside celebration of of Harold’s life will be held Friday, November 20, 2020 at Elk Hills Mausoleum, Big Chimney, with Dr. Earl Cochran officiating. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum, with Military Honors by the WV Honor Guard. Family will accept friends 1 hour before the service at the mausoleum.
