Earlene V. West, age 82, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2020 at C.A.M.C. Memorial Division in Charleston.
She was a resident of St. Albans, formerly of Gandeeville in Roane County.
Earlene was born December 5, 1937 to the late Earl Vincent Starcher and Mary (Parsons-Hilt) Starcher.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading, gardening, singing and playing the piano.
Earlene was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth West whom she was married to for 62 years, brother, Marshall Starcher, sister-in-law; Bernice Starcher, sister, Sidney (Pat) Rice, brother; Richard Hilt, sister; Glenna Wright and sister; Betty Rice.
She is survived by her daughter; Sherry (Jeff) Keener, granddaughter, Alisha (Jason) Lathey, grandson; Christopher (Amy) Postalwait, great-grandchildren, Morgan Lathey, Cameron Lathey, Easton Postalwait, step-grandchildren, Tyler Keener and Taylor Keener, brothers; Johnny (Bonnie) Starcher, Albert (Wanda) Starcher, sisters; Mary Ellen Shields, and Anna Mae (Sonny) Austin, and a host of family and friends.
There will be NO service and the body is being cremated. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Earlene's name to the Rush Creek Church, Spencer, WV.
