Donna Jean White

Donna Jean White, 65, of Elkview, WV, passed away after a sudden illness.

She was born August 3, 1952, at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, to the late Phyllis Jean Welcher Perdue Newell and Robert Newell. She was also preceded by a brother, Mike Sater.

Donna Jean is survived by her loving family, daughter; Chariti Moss, grandchildren; Nathan Doughty of Mill Creek, Dustin Doughty of Charleston, Andrew Doughty of St. Albans, Gage Doughty of Hurricane, several great-grandchildren, sisters, and brothers; Carol Ann White of Charleston, Lydia Ruth Chapman of Cross Lanes, Rick Sater of Jackson Co., Karen Sue Sater of Charleston, David Sater of Tazewell, VA, Eddie Perdue of Charleston, numerous nieces and nephews.

A combined service will be held Thursday, July 26, 2018, for Donna Jean White and Chariti’s father, Jerry Moss, at Elk Funeral Home 2001 Pennsylvania  Ave., Charleston, WV 25302. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends 1 hour before the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to offset the funeral expenses.
