Dennis Eugene Booker

Dennis Eugene Booker, 73, of Charleston,WV, stepped into the gates of Heaven, on January 22, 2019, after an extended illness.

He was preceded in death, by his parents, Eddie and Dora Booker Brown, daughter, Lindsay Myers, son, David Booker, Sr.

Dennis served in the U.S. Army, was a Montgomery police officer.  He also was a Shawnee Hills Rehabilatation Counselor.

He was known as the Apostle Prophet D.E.Booker, “Jesusman”, a light on the world, not ashamed of the name.

Dennis is survived by his loving family, wife, Prophetesses Evangelist Lisa Booker, daughter, Eboni Booker (Brandon Coltey), daughter, Janice Guinn, son, Todd Booker, son, Dennis Booker, Jr., grandson, David Booker, Jr. and his mother, LeeLee, granddaughter, who he was raising, Korrina Tucker, sister, Stephanie Minor, brother, Billy Brown, step-grandson, Artie Carter, step-daughter, Angelia Michelle Howze (Kevin Braxton), step-son, Lowell Willis, step-daughters, Jennifer Fox and Brandon, Kimberly Elswick and Adam, aunts, Joann Booker, Catherine Bradford, Jim “Uncle Perkins” Johnson, cousins, Leslie Allen, Craig Johnson, Floyed Johnson. Lots of nieces and nephews.  He LOVED them all!

At Dennis’s request he has been cremated.

A Celebration of Dennis’s Life will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, January 30, at the Elk Funeral Home, 2001 Pennsylvania Ave., Charleston,WV  25302, with Reverend Aubrey Thomas officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour before the service at the funeral home.
