Deborah Nelma Carte

Deborah "Debbie" Nelma Carte, 62 of Charleston, passed away, November 26, 2018, after a long illness.  She was born March 11, 1956 to the late Robert and Virginia Wickline Jackson. She was also preceded in death by daughter, Rebecca Carte, sisters, Helen Hill, Nancy Strickland, brother-in-law, Hurshel Strickland.

Debbie was retired from Goodwill Industries.

She is survived by her loving family, husband of 44 years, Donald Carte, daughter, Catherine Lou Carte, son, Donald E. Carte, Jr. (Rebecca Arthur), grandchildren, Bryan, Hailey, Michael, Jacob, Cheyenne, Sarah, Ashleigh, sisters, Sue (Dale) Good, Donna (Steve) Spencer, brothers, Arnold Wickline, Carl, David, Robert, Timothy and John Jackson.

Memorial Service will be held Monday, December 3, at Elk Funeral Home, 2001 Pennsylvania Ave., Charleston, WV  25302, with Pastor William Neil officiating.  Private Burial will be at a later date. Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until service time Monday, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to Elk Funeral Home to defray service costs.
