David R. Mclaughlin

David R. McLaughlin, 64, of Charleston, passed away, May 21, 2019, after a short illness.

David was born October 19, 1954, in Charleston, to the late Joe A. and Bobby Jean Hunt McLaughlin.

A brother, Joseph S. McLaughlin also preceded him in death.

David was a graduate of Stonewall Jackson High School, Class of 1973 and was retired from the City of Charleston.

He is survived by his loving family, brothers, Eddie (Lynn) and Larry McLaughlin, sisters, Jean (Brent) Hoke and Pam Pettry.

Several nieces and nephews.

A Joint Celebration of David's and his nephew, Joey Pettry's Life will be held at 6:00 PM, Friday, May 24, at the Elk Funeral Home 2001 Pennsylvania Ave., Charleston, WV  25302

Family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.
